This is my Story
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always been on the move. Hiking, swimming competitively, even pushing myself through sprint triathlons. But no matter how active I was, there was one thing that always brought me back to center: a long, soothing bubble bath. It wasn’t just a way to unwind; it was an essential part of my recovery. There was only one problem, every bottle on the shelf seemed to be designed for someone else.
Breaking the Mold
Every time I walked down the bath aisle, all I saw were floral, sugary-sweet scents that didn’t match how I wanted to feel after a long, exhausting day. I wanted something bold. Something rugged, fresh, and invigorating. And more than that, I wanted to change the way we think about self-care. Why should bubble baths be limited by outdated stereotypes? Why should scent dictate who belongs in the tub?
A Bold Journey Forward
In 2020, I launched TOA Waters, named after Cuba’s mightiest river, a tribute to my heritage. I created a unique line of “bold scented” bubble baths, finally breaking bathroom stereotypes. Men no longer have to worry about what indulging in a bubble bath will do to their image. And women, whoever said that flowery scents and a side of glitter are all that is appropriate for you?
Self-Care without Limits
In 2025, we grew beyond the bathtub. While bubble baths remain our foundation, we now offer body wash, room sprays, and the first-ever liquid bath bombs. Bold products that bring self-care to every corner of your bath, body, and home. As an LGBTQ+/Latin-owned business, I’m proud that TOA Waters represents more than just products; we stand for self-care without limits, for breaking stereotypes, and for creating a space where everyone can relax, recharge, and be unapologetically themselves.
