This is my Story
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always been on the move; hiking, swimming competitively, even pushing myself through sprint triathlons. But no matter how active I was, there was one ritual that always brought me back to center: a long, soothing bubble bath. It wasn’t just a way to unwind; it was essential to my recovery.
There was only one problem. Every bottle on the shelf seemed to be designed for someone else.
Time for Better
The scents were outdated. Overly floral, sugary sweet, and disconnected from how I wanted to feel after a long, exhausting day. I wanted something bold, something fresh and invigorating. However, as I started paying closer attention, I realized the issue went deeper than scent alone.
Many self-care products were packed with harsh, unnecessary chemicals. Synthetic dyes, sulfates, and fillers that didn’t belong on skin, let alone in a space meant for relaxation and care. Self-care shouldn’t come with compromises. And it certainly shouldn’t mean exposing your body to ingredients that work against your well-being.
So I decided to take action.
A Bold Journey Forward
In 2020, I launched TOA Waters, named after Cuba’s mightiest river, a tribute to my heritage. I set out to create bold-scented bubble baths that broke outdated bathroom stereotypes and respected the body.
Men no longer have to worry about what indulging in a bubble bath says about them. And women, who ever said floral scents and a side of glitter were the only options?
Self-Care without Limits
In 2025, we grew beyond the bathtub. Our products now include body wash, room sprays, and the world’s first-ever liquid bath bombs. Clean, bold innovations designed to bring self-care into every corner of your bath, body, and home.
