AwearMarket was founded by Dave Coulier, beloved actor, comedian, and well-known television personality best recognized for his role as Joey Gladstone on Full House. His personal health journey, however, is what sparked this powerful new venture.
In 2024, Coulier was diagnosed with B-Cell Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. While undergoing chemotherapy, he began examining the everyday products in his life and discovered how many contained harmful chemicals such as PFAS, BPA, and petroleum-based dyes. This realization led him to coin the term “Awear,” representing mindfulness in everything we consume, wear, and apply to our skin.
Determined to make healthier living more accessible, Coulier partnered with Pat Greene, along with wellness advocates Melissa Coulier and Melanie Samuels. Together, they created a platform that curates best-in-class brands offering safe, non-toxic alternatives across categories, including food, hygiene, home goods, apparel, and pet care.
In October 2025, during AwearMarket’s development, Coulier received a second unexpected diagnosis: P16 Squamous Carcinoma at the base of his tongue. Because it was caught early, treatment began immediately, reinforcing his mission: to fight for cleaner, safer products so that others might never face the same battles.
Today, AwearMarket proudly partners with the V Foundation for Cancer Research, donating through a round-up program to support vital cancer research initiatives.
